Melissa Larkin

Melissa Larkin is proposed to be the Chief Financial Officer of Battle Financial, Inc., and then Battle Bank when it opens. She will oversee all financial matters for the two companies and supervise other aspects such as Risk. Prior to signing on, she was CFO and COO of Solera National Bank where she was instrumental in turning the bank around from an underperforming community bank to one ranking in the upper quartile among peers in nearly all financial metrics. She was primarily responsible for managing Solera's total balance sheet risk, capital and strategic planning, investment portfolio, and asset-liability modeling. Prior to becoming CFO, she was Solera's Controller. She served on the Board of Directors for Solera National Bank and Solera National Bancorp, Inc. where she held the position of Secretary. Her career includes Controller at WestStar Bank, an auditor for KPMG, and a postgraduate technical assistant for the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

Melissa holds a Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver.
