Robert O'Leary is an experienced professional in the mental health sector, currently serving as the Lived Experience Program Manager at batyr since October 2016. In this role, Robert leads the strategy, management, and quality operations of batyr's Lived Experience activities, including overseeing the Being Herd program. Previously, Robert coordinated the Being Herd workshops, focusing on empowering young people to share their mental health stories. Prior to batyr, Robert worked as a Youth Access Clinician at headspace from May 2013 to October 2015, where responsibilities included conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and developing support groups for LGBTIQ youth. Robert holds a Bachelor of Social Work from The University of Sydney, completed in 2012.
