Sarah Scales

Sarah Scales is an experienced professional in the field of mental health engagement and storytelling. Currently serving as the National Storytelling and Engagement Manager at batyr since October 2015, Sarah has also held positions such as National Lived Experience Storytelling Lead and National Story Development Coordinator, where responsibilities include working with young individuals who have participated in the Being Herd workshop to empower them to share their mental health journeys. Prior to this, Sarah worked at Elite Personal Training from August 2009 to October 2015, initially as a casual receptionist and later as Administration Manager/Team Lead, focusing on customer service and operational support. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Sydney and completed additional studies at the Jansen Newman Institute in 2015.
