Kira Petersons

Kira Petersons has held several positions in the fashion industry since 2014. Kira began their career as a Customer Service Associate at Men's Wearhouse in 2014, followed by a Sales Associate position at ANN INC. (parent company of Ann Taylor, LOFT & Lou & Grey) in 2015. In the same year, they also held a Wholesale Sales Representative position at THE PORTICO COLLECTION, INC. In 2016, they served as a Merchandising and Product Development Intern at VF Jeanswear. In 2017, they worked as a Merchandising and Sales Intern at Michael Kors. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Assistant Designer at G-III Apparel Group and is currently an Assistant Designer at BaubleBar Inc. During their career, they have conducted research on trends, created mood boards and sketches, presented design ideas, and built collections based on current trends and brand identity. Additionally, they have prepared product lines for market meetings, customized new product offerings, created fiber technology presentations, and gained insight on the relationship between design and retail.

Kira Peterson attended Oklahoma State University from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Design, Housing, and Merchandising with an option in Apparel Merchandising. Her field of study was Apparel and Marketing.
