Art Director at Bauer Hockey

Amanda Griffin has extensive experience in design and art direction. Currently working at Bauer Hockey as Art Director, they are responsible for concepting, developing, and designing marketing and product campaigns. Amanda has also collaborated with Copywriters, Brand, and the Social Media team. Amanda is the lead Art Director on the Bauer // lululemon apparel collaboration and has designed Bauer's updated Brand Guidelines. Amanda has also photographed various products and events featured on NHL Network and Bauer's website and social media channels.

Before joining Bauer Hockey, Amanda worked as a Freelance Art Director & Designer at their own firm, Amanda Griffin Design, starting in 2015.

Prior to that, they served as a Senior Designer at ThinkArgus from 2019 to 2020. During this time, Amanda contributed their design expertise to various projects.

From 2018 to 2019, Amanda worked at Viewpoint Creative as a Designer. Amanda played a significant role in the Honey Dew account, designing their Brand Guidelines and rebranded marketing materials for print, web, and social media.

Previously, Amanda worked as an Art Director at The Ad Club in 2018. Amanda was responsible for creating the branding and design elements for various events and programs.

Amanda started their career as a Production Designer and Junior Production Designer at MullenLowe U.S. from 2016 to 2018. Amanda handled digital assets for clients such as JetBlue, Hyatt, U.S. Cellular, and Royal Caribbean.

In 2016, Amanda freelanced on-site at CBI, an Informa business, as a Graphic Designer. Amanda worked with a small team to brand and design assets for life science conferences.

Before transitioning into design, Amanda worked as a Shift Supervisor at CVS Pharmacy from 2009 to 2016.

Amanda's earlier roles include working as a Junior Production Designer at MullenLowe U.S. in 2015 and serving as a Scrimshaw Yearbook Designer and Desk Attendant at UMass Dartmouth from 2013 to 2015.

Amanda Griffin has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Amanda attended the university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their degree, Amanda has obtained two additional certifications. In 2016, they completed the Creative Concepts Course at The Ad Club. More recently, in February 2021, they obtained a certification in Sports Marketing Essentials from Front Office Sports.
