Lars Lorey

Lars Lorey, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and production sectors. Lars is currently the Head of Technology Transfer and Project Management at Bauerfeind AG since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Development and Technology at GPE Group from January 2017 to December 2019. Lars also worked at Nordex / Acciona Windpower, where they held multiple positions including Head of Technology Rotor Blade Center, Global Strategist Rotor Blade Production, and Head of Production from 2008 to 2016. Lars started their career at Performance Fibers, where they were the Head of Production from 2004 to 2008 and previously served as the Assistance of Managing Director from 2001 to 2003.

Lars Lorey holds a PhD in Chemistry, which they obtained from TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Lars pursued their doctoral studies from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Diploma in Chemistry from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg between 1990 and 1996.
