Johanna Halkola

Johanna Halkola serves as the Director of the Strategy Unit at Bauer Media Audio – Suomi since March 2022, where responsibilities include strategy, people and culture, communications, marketing, public affairs, and corporate responsibility, alongside being a member of the Executive Board. Prior to this role, Johanna Halkola was involved with RadioMedia ry from March 2011 to March 2022, holding positions such as Head Specialist in Business Environment and Advocacy Manager, focusing on improving conditions for radio companies through public and legal affairs. Additional experience includes working as a Head Specialist at Medialiitto, Legal Counsel at the Council for Mass Media in Finland, and Associate Lawyer at Yleisradio. Educational credentials include a Master of Laws in Media Law from the University of Helsinki, and a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Management and Leadership from Hanken School of Economics.
