Sebastian Flierl has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly in automation and special machine construction. Currently serving as a Konstrukteur at Baumann Automation since September 2018, Sebastian focuses on project design, standardization of production cells and components, optimization of assemblies and workflows, process FMEA moderation, and the introduction of virtual commissioning. Prior to this role, Sebastian completed a Master's thesis at OTH Amberg-Weiden, which involved automatic model generation for virtual commissioning in Plant Simulation and collaborated with BMW Group Regensburg. As a scientific assistant, Sebastian worked on 3D emulation of conveyor technology using simulation software. Additional experience includes developing a test concept during a Bachelor’s thesis at Bosch and an internship in series support for ABS/ESP systems. Sebastian holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from OTH Amberg-Weiden, focusing on innovation-oriented mechanical engineering.
