Thomas Hertig

Thomas Hertig is an experienced product manager specializing in force and strain sensors at Baumer Group since September 2017, responsible for product management, international account management, and market evaluation. Prior to this role, Hertig served as Head of PM&E Sensing Technologies at Brugg Cables from 2010 to 2017, overseeing fiber optic sensing technologies and managing key accounts across multiple regions. Hertig's career at Brugg Cables also included a decade as Head of the Technical Department, focusing on the development of fiber optic and copper cable systems. Earlier positions at ABB in the USA and Switzerland involved mechanical development and project management of high voltage switchgear. Hertig holds degrees in Engineering Mechanics and an Executive MBA in Economics from Zürich University of Applied Sciences.
