Wilhelm Luxem is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic development. Currently serving as a Member of the Board Baur au Lac and a strategic consultant for Wilhelm Luxem International Hospitality Consulting, Wilhelm has previously held the position of General Manager at Baur au Lac from January 2013 to June 2022, and at The Oberoi, Mauritius, where Wilhelm oversaw the hotel’s construction and opening in October 2000. With a background that includes key management roles at Excelsior Hotel Ernst AG, Thanos Hotels Group, and Hayman Island Resort, Wilhelm possesses a strong expertise in talent development, quality enhancement, and sales and marketing performance. Wilhelm's education includes a Küchenmeister degree from Hotelfachschule Heidelberg and training at Fritz Gabler School of Hotel Management.
