Chantal Lapointe

Chantal Lapointe has a strong work history with experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, and business systems. Chantal began their career in 2000 as a Specialist in Business Systems at Aventis. Chantal then joined sanofi-aventis in 2001, where they worked as a Specialist in Business Systems and Industrial and Commercial Process. In 2003, they briefly served as the Chief Production Planner before being promoted to Chief Logistics Officer. In 2005, they transitioned to Valeant International, initially Sanofi-aventis, where they continued their role as Chief Logistics Officer until 2013. In their position, Chantal led all activities related to planning, procurement, purchasing, and electronic publishing. Chantal also played a key role in strategic planning and goal achievement. Chantal then moved to Bausch Health Companies Inc. in 2013, where they initially served as a Senior Manager of Supply Chain before being promoted to the Director of Global Manufacturing Procurement in 2022. In this role, they oversee the company's asset management and provides leadership in inventory management. Chantal's work experience demonstrates their expertise in various aspects of supply chain and logistics management.

Chantal Lapointe has a diverse education history. In 1986, they completed a DEC in Analytical Chemistry at Cégep Ahuntsic, Montréal. In 1995, they obtained a Certificate in Chemical Analysis from Université du Québec à Montréal / UQAM. In 2002, Chantal attended College Dawson, where they earned a degree in APICS Principle of Manufacturing Control, specializing in Manufacturing Control. In 2006, they attended Université ETS Montréal and completed a program for newly promoted managers. Chantal also has some education history at HEC Montréal, where they studied the basics of an MBA program in 2012 and attended courses on accelerating personal development for high-potential executives in 2012. In 2013, Chantal pursued a program on achieving operational excellence and the latest practices in strategic supply chain management at HEC Montréal. Finally, in 2016, they completed a program in Techniques and Strategies for Successful Negotiations at HEC Montréal.
