Marko Mädge

Marko Mädge took over the development and leadership of the department for Communications, Public Affairs and Fundraising at Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) in January 2019. He is BIS's media spokesman. His primary goals include the implementation of consistent communication and thus a positive awareness, image and reputation. Also on his agenda is the development of fundraising & sponsoring and the establishment of effective digital communication.

Born in Braunschweig, Germany, Marko Mädge studied journalism and sports science at the University of Leipzig and worked as an editor, media spokesman and consultant. From 1999 to mid-2017 he developed a journalism office into an agency for communications, content and corporate publishing with 18 employees, most recently as managing partner.

In his private life, the father of a little son naturally focuses on his family. He is also interested in minimalistic photography, urban & street art, city trips and tennis.
