Claus Weber has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to environmental support, biosafety, quality management, and academia. Claus is currently the Director of Environmental Support & Biosafety at Bavarian Nordic since 2020. Prior to this, they held multiple senior managerial positions at Bavarian Nordic A/S from 2011 to 2020, including Senior Manager Environmental Support & Biosafety and Environmental Support Manager. Claus also served as the Interim Production Manager during a specific period. Before joining Bavarian Nordic, Claus worked at Coloplast as the Head of Sterilization and Microbiology from 2008 to 2011, as well as a Quality Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Claus also has experience as a Quality Manager at Superfos from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, Claus worked as an Associated Professor at The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in Copenhagen from 1998 to 2001.
Claus Weber completed their doctoral studies in Food Engineering and Food Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen from 1984 to 1989. Prior to that, they attended Haslev Gymnasium from 1980 to 1985, although no specific degree or field of study was provided for this time period.
