Ge Li

Statistical Programmer at Bavarian Nordic

Ge Li has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1993, Ge Li worked as a Research Associate at the Institute of Hematology, CAMS for six years before moving on to become an Assistant Professor at the same institute in 1999. In 2003, Ge Li was promoted to Associate Professor before transitioning to the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) in 2004. At UMB, Ge Li held the role of Postdoctoral Researcher until 2016, when they became a Research Scientist until 2018. In 2019, Ge Li joined Emmes as a SAS programmer and later was promoted to Senior SAS Programmer. Ge Li's most recent role is as a Statistical Programmer at Bavarian Nordic since 2022.

Ge Li completed their education in the field of Cellular and Molecular Biology. Ge obtained a Ph.D. from Peking Union Medical College in 2003, after completing their M.S. degree in the same field from the same institution in 1998. Prior to that, they earned their B.S. degree in Molecular Biology from Nankai University in 1993. Additionally, Ge Li has obtained several certifications in SAS programming, including the SAS Certified Clinical Trials Programmer Using SAS 9 in 2020, SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 in 2018, and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 in 2015.
