Henrik Waldal Holen

Henrik Waldal Holen has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and development. Henrik began their career as a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen in 2012, where they focused on their studies until 2016. Following their doctoral studies, Henrik worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at the same university from 2016 to 2017. Henrik then joined Bavarian Nordic in 2017, where they held the position of Scientist in the Process Development department until 2021. After a brief stint at Coriolis Pharma as a Scientist, Henrik returned to Bavarian Nordic in 2022 as a Scientist specializing in Vaccine Generation.

Henrik Waldal Holen completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2009. Henrik then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biotechnology from the same institution, which they completed in 2012. Following this, Henrik Holen continued their academic journey and enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they completed their PhD in Biochemistry from 2012 to 2016.
