Ivona Cafuta

Ivona Cafuta has extensive work experience in the field of Pharmacovigilance. Ivona started their career as a Pharmacovigilance Associate at PrimeVigilance Ltd. in June 2014 and worked in this role until October 2015. Ivona then advanced to the position of Senior Pharmacovigilance Associate/Deputy LQPPV from October 2015 to May 2017. Ivona continued to grow in their career and served as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Officer/Deputy LQPPV from May 2017 to September 2018. In September 2018, they took on the role of Associate Pharmacovigilance Project Manager/Deputy LQPPV until May 2019.

In 2020, Ivona joined Bavarian Nordic as a Senior Safety Specialist PV, a position they held until February 2021. Ivona then transitioned to their current role as Manager Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Bavarian Nordic.

Throughout their career, Ivona has demonstrated proficiency in various Pharmacovigilance activities, including ICSR quality control, case processing, case reconciliation, initial triage and assessment, PV system management, safety report management, and compliance monitoring. Ivona is experienced in using Argus, Aris g 5;7, and PVWorks software and has good computer literacy. Ivona is fluent in English, possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, and has a strong sense of prioritization.

Ivona Cafuta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb between 2007 and 2010. Ivona then pursued a Master's degree in Ecology and Nature Preservation at the same institution, completing it from 2010 to 2013.
