Rebecca Abblitt

Rebecca Abblitt has over 20 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Rebecca is currently the Director of Clinical Programs at Bavarian Nordic, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Emergent BioSolutions, where they held multiple roles including Director of Clinical Programs from July 2022 to May 2023, Senior Clinical Program Manager from September 2019 to July 2022, and Senior Clinical Project Manager from December 2017 to August 2019. Before joining Emergent BioSolutions, Rebecca worked at PPD for 10 years, where they held positions such as Sr. Clinical Team Manager from March 2015 to November 2017, Clinical Team Manager from March 2013 to March 2015, and Senior Clinical Research Associate from January 2007 to March 2013. Rebecca's early career included a role as a Clincal Research Associate at Schering-Plough Research Institute from 2001 to 2006.

Rebecca Abblitt earned their Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of New Brunswick in 1999. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications, including one in Biomedical Research from the CITI Program in March 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a certification in GCP Course: Audits and Inspections of Clinical Trials of Drugs and Biologics from the CITI Program in January 2022. Rebecca also completed a certification in Biomedical Research from the CITI Program in March 2020.
