Ulrik Ringgaard Mathorne has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 1999 with an internship at Siemens, they worked as a trainee in a research team focusing on organic synthesis chemistry. After that, they joined Nykredit Realkredit A/S as a Project Consultant, where they developed an intranet portal and worked on capacity planning.

In 2005, Ulrik started working at Novo Nordisk A/S as a Supply Chain Graduate, leading cleaning validation and weigh procedure validation projects. Ulrik later became a Lean Consultant, managing projects related to EDI integration and injection moulding. As a VP Executive Assistant, they renewed a service level agreement with a strategic supplier.

From 2013 to 2016, Ulrik worked at Novozymes as a Lean Specialist, leading the implementation of OEE tools and educating staff on OEE. Ulrik was also a Flow & Capacity Specialist, monitoring capacity needs and preparing inputs for the S&OP process.

Ulrik then joined Copenhagen Business School as a Teacher Assistant, teaching students about production systems, lean principles, supply chain management, and capacity planning.

Since 2016, Ulrik has been working at Bavarian Nordic, initially as a Fill Finish Specialist, responsible for implementing clinical drug products into the fill finish platform. Ulrik then worked as a Visual Inspection Specialist, implementing a semi-automatic visual inspection process and supporting tech transfer of drug products. Currently, they hold the position of Production Support Manager, where they oversee the production process and leads a team of operators.

Throughout their career, Ulrik has demonstrated expertise in production systems, lean principles, supply chain management, and capacity planning. Ulrik has successfully managed projects, implemented improvements, and effectively communicated strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Ulrik Ringgaard Mathorne's education history began in 1992 when they attended Frederikssund Gymnasium for three years, focusing on maths and chemistry. After completing their gymnasium education, they went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained in 2003.

Following their undergraduate studies, Ulrik then pursued a Master's degree in Operations Management from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they successfully completed in 2003.

In 2009, Ulrik furthered their education by attending Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management in 2011.

Additionally, Ulrik acquired a Black Belt certification in Six Sigma from Infinitas in 2009.

In 2016, Ulrik obtained a certification in "Introduction to Visual Inspection" from PDA - Parenteral Drug Association.
