Eswaran Ramasamy

Eswaran Ramasamy has a strong background in risk management and collections in the financial sector. Eswaran started their career at GE Capital in 2001, where they held various roles in Risk Management and Collections in US Consumer Finance for nearly a decade. In 2010, they joined Barclays as the Head of Debt Recovery Strategy and later became a Senior Credit Risk Manager for Mortgages. Eswaran joined the BAWAG Group in 2016, initially serving as the Director of European Retail Risk and Portfolio Management. Eswaran then progressed to the role of Division Head, overseeing Group Retail and SME Risk. Currently, Eswaran is the MD, Chief Credit Officer, and Deputy CRO at BAWAG Group.

Eswaran Ramasamy pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Loyola College, completing the program in the years 1996 to 1999. Later, they attended the Madras School of Economics to pursue a Master of Science degree in Economics, from 1999 to 2001.
