Frank Cummins

Frank Cummins is the Director of Embedded Software at Baxter International Inc. They began their career by launching COAPT, a med-tech venture focused on machine learning control systems for prosthetic arms, where they directed product research and development. Frank subsequently served as a Systems Engineering Manager at Northrop Grumman, overseeing algorithm development for aircraft survivability. Currently, at Baxter, they design embedded systems and algorithms to enhance product functionality while also mentoring students at Northwestern University in design projects. In their leisure time, Frank enjoys creating cocktails and running along Lakeshore Path in Chicago with their family.
