John Busch

John Busch currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at SirenOpt, focusing on customer engagement, business development, operations, and product positioning. Concurrently, Busch plays key roles as Co-Chair and Advisor at Berkeley SkyDeck’s Chip Track, and as an Advisor and member of the Leadership Team at Bay Angels, enhancing processes to support startups. As Chair of the Board of Directors for Science is Elementary, Busch collaborates on strategic initiatives to expand the organization's impact. Busch previously held several leadership positions at Applied Materials, including Vice President and General Manager for various divisions, and has experience in rapid thermal processing from Photon Dynamics and Intevac. Busch earned an MBA from Santa Clara University and a BSME from the University of California, Berkeley.
