Maya Lis Tussing is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment advisory and risk management. As a Partner and Co-Founder at Fairlight Advisors since October 2019, Maya focuses on enhancing the financial resilience of nonprofits and social impact enterprises through comprehensive financial consulting. Previously, Maya served as Principal and OCIO/Investment Advisor at Alesco Advisors LLC from March 2016 to September 2019, catering to institutional and high-net-worth clients. Maya's background includes key roles at BlackRock as Director of US Index Asset Allocation and Director of Risk and Quantitative Analysis, as well as experience in operational risk management at Barclays and risk assessments at Visa. Maya holds an MBA in International Finance from the University of Washington, a BA in Psychobiology from Pomona College, and participated in an MBA Exchange Program in Finance at the University of Zurich.
