Daniel Meer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental management and policy. Currently serving as Manager of Special Projects at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Daniel led the development of the District's Remote Work Policy. Previously, Daniel was a Senior Policy Advisor at the same district while on loan from the US Environmental Protection Agency, where contributions included completing the Emergency Operations Plan and Continuity of Operations Plan. With a 30-year tenure at the EPA, Daniel held various leadership roles, notably as Assistant Director of the Superfund and Emergency Management Division, managing responses to major disasters and overseeing cleanup efforts at hazardous sites. Daniel’s early career included roles in marketing management and geological evaluation. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Binghamton University.
