Xiaocan Wang

Global Initiatives Manager at Bay Area Council

Xiaocan Wang is Global Initiatives Manager for the Bay Area Council based in Beijing. Her work involves a wide range of activities supporting the relationships with key public private partners and members in China. Working closely with the China Initiative team, she plays an integral part in arranging delegation and facilitating communication with the local government. She is also responsible for the daily operations of the Beijing office, including coordinating events, implementing marketing strategy, and helping cross-border business development.

Prior to joining the Bay Area Council, Xiaocan worked in Beijing in various sports and culture events projects, including FIS Freestyle Aerials World Cup and the Chelsea vs. Arsenal Super Derby Cup. She is also a freelance producer for corporate branding videos agencies in her spare time.

Xiaocan holds a Master’s degree in Design & Branding Strategy from Brunel University London and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wuhan University.
