Hernan Vargas is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in interim leadership roles across various sectors, including humanitarian aid, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Interim Global Controller at Corus International, Hernan manages multiple accounting functions and oversees the month-end and year-end close processes. Previous positions include Interim Controller at the Center for Youth Wellness and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Mercy Corps, where Hernan managed a global team and large annual budgets. Hernan also has experience as a consultant in due diligence projects and as an advisor for innovative financial solutions. Hernan holds an MBA in Finance and International Management from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a BS in Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
