Rachel Hoerger

Rachel Hoerger is a Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Aid since May 2016, with a diverse background in legal advocacy and research. Previous roles include Contract Attorney Interviewer at Moscone Emblidge Sater & Otis, Temporary Staff Attorney at California Rural Legal Assistance, and Legal Fellow at Root & Rebound. Hoerger has experience conducting interviews in English and Spanish, preparing legal documentation, and providing direct legal services to formerly incarcerated individuals. Legal internship experiences span organizations such as ACLU of Northern California and Make the Road NY, focusing on criminal justice reform and immigrant rights.
