Renee Coe is an Equal Justice Works Fellow at Bay Area Legal Aid, focusing on public interest work addressing fraud and scams targeting immigrants and individuals with limited English proficiency, with sponsorship from Intel Corp. Previously, Renee served as a Law Clerk in the Consumer Unit at the same organization, conducting legal research and drafting motions. Additional experience includes working as an intern at the Immigration Justice Project, supporting cases related to the Franco Gonzalez v. Holder class, and holding various roles at Every Child Matters, where responsibilities encompassed digital organizing and policy research. Prior positions in the United States Senate involved managing Senator Klobuchar's office operations, including correspondence and scheduling. Renee holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in History and Middle East Studies from Wellesley College.
