Calli Leigh Burnett is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in advocating for low and modest-income clients, particularly in housing, education, and public benefits. Currently serving as the Attorney Supervisor Grant Project Manager and Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Services since December 2019, Burnett focuses on clients' housing and consumer needs across Tampa Bay. Previously, Burnett was the Managing Attorney at Burnett Law LLC, working with families to secure educational services for students, leveraging a background in teaching. Additional experience includes roles as a Staff Attorney at LAF, where advocacy for students with disabilities was central, and previous positions at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Illinois State Charter School Commission, and various legal internships.
