Chelsey Unsworth

Chelsey Unsworth is an experienced social worker with a diverse background in educational and medical settings. Currently serving as a School Social Worker at Bay-Arenac ISD since August 2022, Chelsey previously held the same title at National Heritage Academies from August 2020 to August 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Medical Social Worker at Covenant HealthCare from May 2018 to August 2020 and as a Co-Occurring Counselor at Victory Clinical Services from June 2016 to May 2018, where Chelsey assisted individuals struggling with opiate addiction. Chelsey has also completed multiple internships, including roles at North Saginaw Charter Academy, Bay Area Woman's Center, and Golden Horizons, focusing on special education, domestic violence survivors, and senior care, respectively. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University.
