Nicholas Amore

Nicholas Amore has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Nicholas started their career in 2018 as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. In this role, Nicholas was involved in researching, designing, and testing components for handling systems on towed arrays. Nicholas also collaborated with engineers from different disciplines and applied their hardware and software skills for engineering fieldwork.

In 2019, Nicholas joined ON Semiconductor as an Applications Engineer Intern. In this position, they worked as part of a team that develops FETs with built-in circuit protection. Nicholas was responsible for characterizing components, testing functionality, and developing PCBs and software for automated bench testing systems. In addition, they worked on an Undergraduate Senior Capstone Design Project where they collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to develop an automation system for testing multiple types of relay drives with a variety of inductive loads. Nicholas'sspecific focus was on creating circuitry for automatic change of outputs, protection elements, thermal sensing, fail detection, Arduino control, and incorporating them onto a single PCB.

In 2020, Nicholas joined Bay Computer Associates as a Hardware Engineer. Further details about their role in this position are not provided.
