Dudley Harris

Dudley Harris has extensive work experience in the electrical and contracting industry. Dudley started their career in 1987 as the President and Owner of Harris Power & Equipment, where they oversaw daily operations and managed various departments including electricians, generator technicians, mechanics, apprentices, and laborers. Dudley also owned and operated commercial buildings with retail parts and service departments. In this role, they directed a range of services such as generator installations, rentals, and online sales, load bank service, fire alarm installations, government facility maintenance contracts, healthcare electrical services and renovations, uninterruptible power systems, temporary power, and party and event rentals. In 2017, Harris joined Bay Electric Co., Inc. as the Vice President of Special Projects, where they brought their expertise to the team.

Dudley Harris obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a focus on Management from Christopher Newport University. Dudley attended this university from 1982 to 1987. Before attending Christopher Newport University, they briefly attended Tennessee Technological University in 1981, although they did not obtain a degree or pursue a specific field of study at this institution.

In addition to their formal education, Dudley Harris holds additional certifications as a Master Journeyman Electrician and Class A Contractor.
