Jeff Butera

Jeff Butera is an experienced news professional currently serving as the Midday News Anchor at Bay News 9 since January 2023. Prior to this role, Butera was the Main Anchor at WZVN-TV from April 2012 to April 2023, where responsibilities included anchoring the 6, 7, and 11 p.m. broadcasts. Between October 2009 and March 2012, Butera worked as a Multimedia Journalist at WFTS-TV, focusing on writing, shooting, and editing news stories. Earlier career milestones include a reporting position at KPHO TV from 2007 to 2009, where Butera earned two Emmy awards and received eight nominations, and reporting for WTEV from 2005 to 2007. Butera holds a degree in Telecommunications with a focus on news from the University of Florida, completed in 2004.
