Kristi Holland currently serves as an Environmental Data Officer at Bay of Plenty Regional Council, a position held since December 2018. Concurrently, Kristi has worked with Auckland Council since February 2014, taking on roles such as Scientist in Freshwater Ecology and Associate Environmental Specialist, focusing on freshwater monitoring, data collection, and ecological assessment. Academic endeavors include a Master of Science in Freshwater Ecology and Invertebrates, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Ecosystem Sustainability, both from the University of Waikato. Additionally, Kristi has experience as a tutor in biology laboratories and has interned with AgResearch, conducting statistical analyses on herbicide impacts in agriculture, as well as collaborating with the Tongariro Natural History Society to assist in conservation efforts.
