Lisa Naysmith is an experienced Environmental Data Analyst at Bay of Plenty Regional Council since June 2013, with a strong background in hydrology from previous roles at the Scottish Environment Protection Agency from September 2007 to August 2012. Positions included Senior Hydrologist focusing on flood warning improvements and coastal flood forecasting, where responsibilities involved leading projects to enhance monitoring systems and develop flood forecasting capabilities. Lisa also served as a Hydrologist providing flood risk analysis and continued contributions to flood risk databases and maps. Earlier experience as an Environmental Technical Officer at Environment Southland involved data collection and environmental monitoring. Lisa holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Canterbury.
