Daurice Cox

President & CEO at Bay State Community Services, Inc.

Dr. Cox has been working in non-profit services and clinics since 1986 and has been with Bay State Community Services (BSCS) since 1995. She began as the Director of Clinical Services overseeing the agency’s five outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinics and four residential programs. During her tenure, she has played a critical role in the development of programs, services, and best practices. In December of 2014, Dr. Cox became the agency’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Cox was also an adjunct professor for almost 20 years teaching psychology to undergraduate students at Boston University.

Dr. Cox received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Fitchburg State College followed by a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College. In 1994, she graduated from Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She is a Certified Addiction Specialist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and licensed Psychologist.
