Michael Alves is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in desktop support and technical assistance. Currently serving as a Desktop Support Engineer at Bay State IT since July 2021, Michael is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, as well as planning software rollouts. Prior to this, Michael worked as an IT Desktop Support Technician Tier II at Uphams Corner Health Center, handling various support tasks including operating systems, wireless networks, and VoIP issues. Michael's earlier roles include Lead Computing Assistant at Boston Architectural College, where responsibilities included managing computer lab operations and assisting students and staff, and a Security Officer at Apollo International. Michael started the IT career as an eCare TDR Support Technician Intern at Partners Healthcare and also gained experience with the City of Boston Public Works. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Year Up/Cambridge College.
