Robert Kopec, MD, MBA, CPE, currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for North Bay at BayCare Health System, a position held since March 2012, where additional roles include Medical Director of Infection Prevention & Control and Physician Advisor. Prior experience includes serving as a Hospitalist at IN COMPASS HEALTH from September 2006 to March 2012, and as a Solo Practitioner specializing in Infectious Disease from July 2005 to September 2006. Earlier in career, Robert Kopec completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases and an Internal Medicine residency at Maimonides Medical Center from July 2000 to June 2005. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Rutgers University–New Brunswick, and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
