Thomas Garthwaite

Tom Garthwaite possesses extensive experience in healthcare administration, currently serving as President of Winter Haven Hospital and Winter Haven Women’s Hospital, along with St. Joseph's Hospital North at BayCare Health System since December 2014. In this role, Tom Garthwaite is accountable for formulating the hospitals' objectives, managing operations, and ensuring alignment with BayCare’s strategic vision for the East Region. Previous roles include Director of Operations at St. Joseph's Hospital, where responsibilities included facilitating efficient operations, and Service Line Administrator for Oncology, Pharmacy, Transplant, and Dialysis at Halifax Health, overseeing major service lines with a focus on financials and patient satisfaction. Tom Garthwaite holds an MS in Health Care Management from the Florida Institute of Technology and a BS in Radiologic Sciences from the University of Central Florida.
