Tara Cuyos Marsden

Tara Cuyos Marsden currently serves as the Grants and Development Manager at BAYCAT, where responsibilities include managing the grants portfolio and leading efforts to increase contributed revenue. As a co-founder of Moments Cooperative and Community Space, Tara played a crucial role in establishing a queer and trans BIPOC-led bookstore and community center, implementing fundraising initiatives. Previously, Tara was the Development Initiatives Manager at SOMArts, overseeing all fundraising efforts, and also held key roles at Wolfman Books, including Founding Editor of New Life Quarterly, where Tara contributed to editorial and marketing efforts. Tara's early career included positions at Maker Media, Perseus Books Group, and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from San Francisco State University.
