Alexander Novak

Head of Laboratory – Process R&D

Alexander Novak is a process chemist with extensive experience in natural product total synthesis, method development, and photopharmacology. They currently serve as the Head of Laboratory in Process R&D at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, where they lead a team in the development of synthetic routes for radiopharmaceuticals and accelerated clinical candidates. Alexander previously worked as a Research Assistant at Bayer and completed a PhD in Organic Chemistry at New York University, along with a Master's thesis at The Scripps Research Institute. Their educational background also includes degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.
