Allyson Nelson, PhD, currently serves as the National Director of Medical Science Liaison at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, focusing on hematology and women’s health since May 2019. With a robust background in women's health, Allyson held various roles at Bayer from 2010 to 2019, including Deputy Director and Field MSL Team Lead. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Clinical Science Liaison at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA. Allyson contributes to the scientific community as a juror for the Sharecare Awards and as a scholarship committee member for the Association for Women in Science. Allyson earned a PhD in Molecular and Medical Pharmacology from UCLA and a BS in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara.
