Brian Treacy is currently the Government and Industry Affairs Lead at Bayer Crop Science, a position they began in 2019. Previously, they held various roles at Monsanto Canada, including Vice-President of Regulatory Affairs and Vice-President of Government Affairs from 2007 to 2013, where they led regulatory efforts and supported policy development for Canadian agriculture. Earlier in their career, they worked in regulatory affairs and business development at Ag-West Bio and served as a Manager in Biotechnology Regulatory Affairs at Monsanto. Brian completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Swine Reproductive Biology at the University of Alberta and holds a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Ottawa, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Bishop's University.
