Chris Yates

Chris Yates is an accomplished Plant Manager currently overseeing operations at Bayer, where they lead a team of approximately 120 employees to ensure safe and efficient production of high-purity phosphorus. With a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence, Chris has effectively reduced injury rates, off-spec shipments, and capital spending. Their previous roles include significant leadership positions at Bayer CropScience, Dow Chemical Company, and other industry leaders, where they gained extensive experience in process engineering, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives. Chris holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MS in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
