Christiane Otto is an early clinical leader in translational medicine at Bayer Pharmaceuticals, specializing in cardiovascular and renal diseases. With over 25 years of experience, they have led cross-functional clinical teams in early clinical development from first-in-human studies to clinical proof of concept. Christiane has been responsible for early clinical development plans and has contributed to the design, conduct, and analysis of phase 1 and phase 2 studies. They have served as a private lecturer at the University of Heidelberg and authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and more than 15 patents. Previously, they held roles at Schering AG and DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, focusing on women’s health care and molecular biology research.
