David Barber is currently the Head of Laboratory at Bayer CropScience, a position held since 2015. They previously completed a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München from 2013 to 2015 and earned a D.Phil in Organic Chemistry from the University of Oxford between 2009 and 2013. Earlier in their career, David worked as a Medicinal Chemist at Roche in 2008 and participated in a CASE Award Placement at AstraZeneca in 2011. David holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of York, obtained in 2009.
