Denise Manker is currently the Head of Outreach and Engagement at Bayer, where they advise growers on best practices for biological products in agriculture and manage a significant USDA project on citrus greening. They previously served as Director of Global Agronomic Development and R&D Expert Fellow at Bayer CropScience, where they provided technical support for biologicals. Denise’s early career includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis and as a senior scientist at Novo Nordisk Entotech. They earned a PhD in Oceanography and Natural Products Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of South Florida.
