Dr. Max Thümmel

Dr. Max Thümmel is the Head of Global Litigation for Team Germany at Bayer AG, where they focus on litigation and arbitration, corporate law, and legal operations. With prior experience as Senior Legal Counsel at Bayer, Dr. Thümmel has also worked at notable organizations such as Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. Dr. Thümmel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from Universität zu Köln and has served on the European Advisory Board of the CPR Institute. They began their legal career with law clerk positions at various institutions, including the District Court of Cologne and the German Chamber of Commerce in China.
