Erick Lutt

Erick Lutt is a versatile and resourceful government affairs professional with nearly two decades of experience in driving agricultural, animal health, climate, energy, environmental, food, sustainability, plant biotech, and trade agendas. Currently serving as the Director of Federal Government Affairs at Bayer, Lutt previously held leadership roles at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, where they advocated for key policy initiatives and successfully shaped legislative outcomes. Lutt began their career in public service, working for U.S. Senators Ben Nelson and Tom Daschle, where they developed strong skills in communication and legislative strategy. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Affairs from Augustana University.
