Francis Beecher

Francis Beecher is currently the Head of Global Wheat Germplasm Improvement at Bayer Crop Science, where they lead the development and deployment of high-performing wheat germplasm for U.S. and EU markets. Previously, Francis held various roles at Bayer and Monsanto, including Breeding Data Platforms Lead and Field Enrichment Lead, focusing on data strategy and digital capabilities in agricultural research. Francis completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Breeding and a Master's degree in Molecular and Environmental Plant Sciences at Texas A&M University, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Gannon University. Their research has contributed to advancements in wheat quality and breeding techniques.
