Geraldo Berger is the VP and Head of Regulatory Science for LatAm at Bayer Crop Science, where they lead initiatives integrating R&D programs with business strategies. With a strong background in plant breeding, biosafety, and crop protection, they have built high-achieving teams and fostered a culture of stewardship and compliance. Geraldo previously held significant roles at Monsanto, including Regulatory Director and Senior Science Fellow, and began their career as a researcher at FT Pesquisa e Sementes. They hold a Ph.D. in Crop Breeding and Genetics and a Master’s degree in Crop Ecology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, along with a B.Sc. in Agronomic Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
